ALEXCAFE SAS is a colombian coffee exporting enterprise that emerged as the result of the honest and dedicated work of a family that for more than 30 years has been involved on coffee production and intermediation of parchment coffee in Risaralda and coffee surrounding city's. The enterprise got the exporting license in June 1999, given by The National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (FNC). The enterprise production facility is "TRILLADORA ALEXCAFE" located in the city of Pereira, with a capacity of production of 20,000 bags per month; the enterprise has all the cutting-edge technology that guarantees a successful production according to the needs of our national and international customers and the fulfillment of the quality parameters demanded by The National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia.


ALEXCAFE has been able to turn individual initiative into a vital team force that make the enterprise growth. Not only itís recognized in the national market for its services of “maquila” and intermediation of parchment coffee, also it has evolved towards green coffee international market, maintaining as a principle "to offer products and services of excellent quality".

Unusual activities or transactions: are all those irregular or strange operations or activities, whose amount or characteristics are not related to the economic activity of the counterparties or that, due to their number of transactions, cannot be reasonably justified. It is necessary to determine the criteria for reporting a transaction as highly suspicious. In this sense, four key risk factors are framed for the detection and identification of unusual activities or transactions: 1.clients 2. Products 3. distribution channels 4. jurisdictions. Based on these variables, risk prevention systems of money laundering, financing of terrorism, and financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, corruption and trasnational bribery must implement methods to identify unusual operations and generate alert signals that allow risk to be qualified and managed.
